Islamabad: National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Tuesday directed field offices to not provide facilities to unvaccinated citizens.

As per an official notification, nearly 200,000 people daily visit NADRA centers across the country for identity card related services.
It is pertinent to mention here that the national identity card is a pre-requisite for administering vaccine to the public.
The decision not to provide facilities has been taken at the behest of the district administration.
In this regard, Deputy Commissioners of different districts have written letters to NADRA.
Corona vaccination drive is being carried out across Pakistan where people over 18 can go and get the COVID vaccine.
It may be recalled that in addition to the Chinese anti-corona vaccine, AstraZeneca, Cansino and Pfizer are also being used in Pakistan so far.
