Make your WhatsApp messages more secure with new feature
Feature aims to further strengthen the security of chats

California: WhatsApp has introduced a great privacy feature that you will definitely like.
The messaging platform owned by Meta has announced the introduction of a feature called Advanced Chat Privacy.
This feature aims to further strengthen the security of chats.
Through this feature, you can prevent other people from exporting your chats or automatically saving the photos and videos sent by you.
Similarly, with this feature, you will also be able to prevent friends from mentioning Meta AI in messages or asking Meta AI questions.
This new advanced privacy setting will apply to both one-on-one and group chats.
When this setting is turned on, no one in a one-on-one chat or group chat will be able to export the entire chat history outside of WhatsApp.
Similarly, photos and videos sent by you will not be automatically saved to the galleries of other people's devices.
But users will still be able to take screenshots of individual messages and save them.
However, WhatsApp said that as advanced chat privacy will be gradually improved, it is possible that taking screenshots will not be possible in the near future.
According to the company, this feature will be helpful when people in a WhatsApp group do not know each other but will discuss sensitive topics.
How to use the feature?
The method of using the feature is also very simple.
To do this, open the chat and select the Advanced Chat Privacy option by clicking on the chat name at the top.
When this setting is enabled in a group chat, everyone in the group will be notified to turn on advanced chat privacy settings.
This feature will be gradually rolled out to users over the coming months.
