Chinese FM urged both Pakistan and India to exercise patience

Islamabad: China has announced its full support for Pakistan on the Pahalgam incident.
The Chinese Foreign Minister's statement said that we fully understand Pakistan’s legitimate security concerns and fully support its efforts to safeguard its sovereignty and security interests.
He also reiterated his support for a fair and timely investigation into the recent incident in Pahalgam.
The Chinese Foreign Minister urged both Pakistan and India to exercise patience and adopt the path of dialogue to resolve the issues.
It is pertinent to note that a few days ago, an incident took place in the Pahalgam area of occupied Kashmir in which 26 tourists were killed by gunmen. India, baselessly blaming Pakistan for the incident, suspended the Indus Waters Treaty and took various measures.
In response, Pakistan also adopted a strong strategy, banning all trade with India, completely closing Pakistani airspace for Indian airlines, and declaring Indian diplomats undesirable and ordering them to leave the country.
After the attack in Pahalgam, Pakistan offered an impartial investigation at the global level and conducting effective diplomacy in this regard. The Deputy Prime Minister contacted foreign ministers around the world and informed them of the situation.
