Three alleged terrorists killed, captain and soldier martyred in Kurram
Rawalpindi: Three alleged terrorists were killed, while two Army officials got martyred during an exchange of fire in Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa on Tuesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces conducted an area sanitization operation in Zewa, Kurram district on reported presence of terrorists.
Three terrorists were killed during the operation. During intense exchange of fire with terrorists Pak Army Captain Basit, 25, of Haripur and a soldier Sepoy Hazrat Bilal, 22, of resident of Orakzai embraced martyrdom.
A cordon and search operation is in progress to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area, the ISPR press release says.
