Karachi: A fire broke out in a cloth warehouse in New Karachi’s Ayub Goth, destroying fabric scraps worth a significant amount.
The KMC Fire Brigade and Rescue 1122 teams controlled the fire after two hours of continuous efforts.
According to fire brigade officials, the fire was caused by a short circuit, and fortunately, no casualties were reported.
The fire alert was received at 9:57 AM, after which two fire tenders from KMC and two fire trucks along with an ambulance from Rescue 1122 arrived at the scene. They informed that the cooling process began once the fire was brought under control.
