Advisory suggested not to share unverified information or rumors related to cyberattacks on Pakistan


Islamabad: The National Cyber Emergency Response Team has issued an important advisory in view of the cyberattacks in the country after the Indian aggression.
According to the advisory issued by the National Cyber Emergency Response Team, the cyberattacks aim to affect Pakistan's important networks. Enemy elements are taking advantage of the current situation and spreading misinformation in cyberattacks.
The advisory states that these elements are misleading the public with deceptive messages, phishing schemes, and false stories.
The National Cyber Emergency Response Team's advisory has suggested not to share unverified information or rumors related to cyberattacks on Pakistan on social media. Users have also been advised not to click on suspicious links, open unverified messages, emails, or social media links.
According to the National Cyber Emergency Response Team advisory, hostile elements try to create an uncertain situation, so get information only from authentic sources, take updates only from official or emergency sources, and do not believe in rumors on WhatsApp or social media.
