Karachi: Lahore’s airspace has once again been closed for various routes.
Following India’s cowardly attacks in Azad Kashmir and other parts of Pakistan, flight operations had been affected but were restored earlier this morning. However, it has now been reported that Lahore’s airspace has once again been closed for several routes.
In this regard, a new NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) has been issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority, stating that Lahore’s airspace is once again closed for various routes.
According to the NOTAM, the air routes in Lahore’s airspace have been closed for 24 hours, while flight operations at Islamabad Airport have been restored.
The NOTAM further states that incoming flights to Islamabad will be allowed to land only with assistance from air traffic control.
