Pakistani hackers launch 'Operation Salar' in response to Indian cyber attacks
Four Indian sites hacked in operation's first phase

Islamabad: In response to India's cyber aggression, Pakistani hackers have launched a counterattack by initiating "Operation Salar" and have successfully hacked four major Indian websites.
A volunteer group of Pakistani hackers announced a coordinated cyber campaign under the name "Operation Salar," targeting India's online infrastructure.
According to sources, in the initial phase of the operation, four key Indian websites were hacked and their data was obtained. The hackers also displayed the Pakistani national flag on these sites.
In a statement issued by the hackers, they said the action was carried out in retaliation to Indian cyberattacks, anti-Pakistan propaganda, and ongoing oppression of the Kashmiri people.
"Operation Salar" is being described as the beginning of a full-fledged cyber war. The Pakistani hackers stated: “We are a peaceful nation, but if anyone challenges our sovereignty, integrity, or national honor, we will not stay silent. Operation Salar is a warning, not the end.”
The hashtag #OperationSalar is now trending on social media, with users praising the Pakistani hackers and calling the cyberattack a "cyber knockout" for India.
Several users have demanded that the operation be expanded to include Indian media, financial systems, and defense websites.
