Google introduces AI-based features to protect users from online fraud
Feature will enhance security in Google Chrome by alerting users about potentially dangerous websites

(Web Desk): Google has announced the introduction of new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features to protect users of Chrome web browser, Google Search, and Android from online fraud. For this purpose, Google will use Gemini Nano, an on-device large language model.
One feature will enhance security in Google Chrome by alerting users about potentially dangerous websites. Another feature, currently under development, will use AI to detect spam hidden in website notifications and issue warning alerts in Chrome. This feature will also block such content.
Google stated that users will be able to see which content was blocked and, if they believe the warning was incorrect, they will have the option to reverse it.
Additionally, a new feature called "Spam Detection" is being introduced in Google Messages and Phone by Google. Its purpose is to protect Android users from fraudulent calls and messages. This feature will warn users if a call or message is potentially a scam.
