Initiative will promote mountaineering and tourism

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has waived the mountaineering tax for two years.
The province’s DG Tourism Authority said that the mountaineering tax has been waived on the peaks of the Hindu Kush range, and the year 2025 has been declared the year of Tirch Mir on the 75th anniversary of the summit.
According to the DG Tourism Authority, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has waived the mountaineering tax for two years from 2025 to 2026.
He further said that the government’s initiative will promote mountaineering and tourism.
