‘We must show our unity and stand together as one’

(Web Desk): Punjab’s Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, has issued an important message for the Sikh community.
In his message, he stated that the Sikh Sangat stands with Pakistan like a rock and will step forward to defend it.
In a video message, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora said that the real conspiracy of the Modi government has been exposed under the guise of war, as the mindset of RSS and Shiv Sena has turned India into a hell for minorities.
“If the Sikhs remain silent today, tomorrow they will face the same fate as the Muslims of Gujarat did in 2002,” he warned. He thanked Sikhs around the world for their support, reiterating that the Sikh Sangat is firmly standing with Pakistan.
He said that the April 22 Pahalgam incident is condemnable, and the Pakistani government also denounced it. Pakistan’s Prime Minister demanded a transparent investigation and even offered cooperation. However, the RSS ideology hastily started blaming Pakistan without evidence, and this was followed by the beginning of war. “We repeatedly tried to prevent war, because peace is the solution — not conflict,” he said.
He further claimed that the Modi government mistook Pakistan’s peaceful stance as weakness and launched attacks on May 6 and 7, targeting mosques and unarmed civilians.
He added that India attacked Nankana Sahib, and the following night, carried out a strike on Amritsar itself, with the intention of sending a message to Sikhs that Pakistan could not protect Nankana Sahib and that Amritsar was also under attack. He said the purpose behind this was to create distance between Sikhs and Pakistan.
“We have not forgotten the bloodshed that Sikhs faced in the past,” he said, emphasizing the need for unity.
“We must show our unity and stand together as one,” he concluded.
