Preliminary investigation into Dasu incident confirms presence of explosives, Fawad Chaudhry
Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry has confirmed the presence of explosives in the Dasu incident.
Taking to Twitter the Federal Minister wrote, “Initial investigations into Dassu incident have now confirmed traces of explosives,”
Fawad Chaudhry said that in the recent terrorist attack near Pasni, the aspect of terrorism in the incident cannot be ignored.
He added that,“ Terrorism cannot be ruled out,PM is personally supervising all developments,in this regard Govt is in close coordination with Chinese embassy we are committed to fight menace of terrorism together.”

Federal Minister in a statement told that Prime Minister Imran Khan is personally monitoring the whole process related to this incident.
At least thirteen passengers died including eight Chinese citizens and several others injured after a passenger carrying a bus met an accident in the Upper Kohistan district on late Tuesday night.
According to Arif Jawed, the Upper Kohistan District Police Officer (DPO), the unfortunate bus met an accident at the area of Bar Spin labour camp in the district.
“Out of thirteen dead bodies, eight are Chinese citizens," the DPO said, adding that most of the injured were foreigners and officials of the Frontier Corps (FC).
“All the dead bodies and injured were shifted to Dasso regional health facility," said the DC. He added that investigation was underway to find out the causes that led the passenger-carrying vehicle to meet an accident.
He said the technical team would investigate the matter to find out what prompted the vehicle's crash.
Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Mehmud Khan, has also taken notice of the road accident in which the lives of foreigners and officials of the FC have lost their lives.
He also directed a team comprising Kamran Bangash, KP's spokesman, KP’s Chief Secretory, and IG police to visit Upper Kohistan and met with the officials of the district regarding the road mishap.
