Fast bowler has taken decision due to tension in the region

Canberra: Fast bowler Mitchell Starc has refused to return to India to play the remaining matches of the IPL due to security concerns.
According to Australian media, Mitchell Starc has informed the franchise of his unavailability for the remaining matches. The fast bowler has taken this decision due to the tension in the region and has also informed Delhi Capitals of his decision.
It is pertinent to note that Mitchell Starc was part of the match that was stopped due to a blackout in Dharamsala, and Starc's wife, Alyssa Healy, was also present and she openly spoke about the conditions in Dharamsala in an interview.
On the other hand, Australian media say that fast bowler Josh Hazlewood is returning to India despite shoulder pain. Josh will join Royal Challengers Bangalore before the playoffs.
According to Australian media, captains Pat Cummins and Travis Head will also join the teams in India, and Cricket Australia will soon state the availability of players for the IPL.
It is pertinent to note that the IPL was postponed for a week last Friday, and now the remaining matches of the league are starting again from May 17.
