Water level in Chashma Reservoir is 648.10 feet


Islamabad: A decrease in water inflow has been observed in Pakistani rivers compared to the previous day.
A spokesperson for the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) said that the water inflow in the Jhelum River at Mangla is 37,300 and the outflow is 28,000 cusecs. The water inflow in the Chashma Barrage is 126,200 and the outflow is 114,000 cusecs.
In addition, the water inflow in the Chenab has decreased by 2,700 cusecs to 20,500, and the outflow is 5,100 cusecs. The water inflow in the Kabul River is 34,900 and the outflow is 34,900 cusecs.
According to the WAPDA spokesperson, the water level in Tarbela Reservoir is 1464.93 feet and the water storage is 16,05,000 acre feet. The water level in Mangla Reservoir is 1145.95 feet, and the water storage is 15,52,000-acre feet.
The spokesperson said that the water level in Chashma Reservoir is 648.10 feet, and the water storage is 263,000 acre feet. The water storage in Tarbela, Mangla, and Chashma reservoirs is 34,20,000-acre feet.
