(Web Desk): Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) held a grand flag hoisting ceremony to commemorate Thanksgiving Day and honor the success of Operation Baniyan Marsous.
The event recognized the bravery and professional excellence of the Pakistan Armed Forces. Air Vice Marshal (R) Sajid Habib attended as the chief guest and praised the military's dedication and the unwavering spirit of the nation.
The ceremony was inaugurated by LCWU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Uzma Qureshi, who emphasized the nation's gratitude for the armed forces' historic victory. A large number of students, faculty, and staff participated, expressing solidarity with the armed forces. The event echoed with resounding chants of "Pakistan Zindabad," creating a patriotic atmosphere throughout the campus.
Participants paid heartfelt tribute to the military’s sacrifices and contributions. The ceremony concluded with special prayers for national unity, strength, and peace in the region, reinforcing the collective commitment to a strong and stable Pakistan.
