Trump says 2026 budget includes significant salary increases for American service members

(Web Desk): US President Donald Trump has stated that the United States will retain control of Afghanistan’s Bagram Airbase and will not hand it over to anyone.
While addressing American troops at the Al Udeid Airbase in Qatar, Trump said that ending conflicts is one of his top priorities, and that the US will not hesitate to use force to defend its partners.
Trump also revealed that Qatar signed defense agreements worth $42 billion with the United States, and that Qatar will invest $10 billion in the Al Udeid Airbase over the coming years.
The US President further stated that the US Air Force will soon acquire the F-47 aircraft, and is also looking forward to the F-55, an advanced version of the F-35. He noted that the 2026 budget includes significant salary increases for American service members.
Regarding regional issues, Trump said, “In my view, the India-Pakistan dispute has been resolved.” He added that both Pakistan and India were advised to pursue trade instead of war, and that “they are happy with this.”
