He stated that our media gave brilliant response to Indian media

Islamabad: Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir has said that the nation united to fight the enemy, and our media responded brilliantly to the Indian media, which will be remembered.
A special ceremony of Thanksgiving Day was held at the Islamabad Pakistan Monument, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as the chief guest.
The ceremony was attended by the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and all three service chiefs.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, along with other ministers, were also present at the ceremony.
The ceremony paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the fight for justice.
Army Chief General Asim Munir, while speaking informally to journalists at the Youm-e-Tashakur, said that the entire nation united to fight the enemy, and he is proud of the way our media responded.
He stated that the media is our pride, we did not hide anything, and we told the truth. The role of our media was responsible, it gave a brilliant response to the Indian media, which will remember it.
In addition, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while addressing the main ceremony of the Day of Gratitude, said that we salute the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the beloved homeland.
The Prime Minister stated that today is a day of gratitude, a day given to someone after centuries.
Shehbaz Sharif added that the enemy rejected our sincere offer with contempt; we had offered that an impartial investigation into the Pahalgam incident should be conducted.
It is pertinent to note that Pakistan responded befittingly to India's military aggression on the night of May 6-7 by shooting down 5 warplanes, including 3 Rafale jets, and then on May 10, defending its sovereignty, gave a response to India that was not only recognized by the world, but also raised voices in India.
