Security clearance of Turkish company operating at Indian airports was also canceled

New Delhi: India has suspended trade and educational ties with Turkiye.
According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, trade and educational ties with Turkey have been suspended in the context of Turkiye's unconditional support for Pakistan during the Indo-Pakistan tension.
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs says that reviewing ties with countries that question India's sovereignty is part of our policy.
Earlier, the security clearance of a Turkish company operating at Indian airports was also canceled.
In addition, a campaign to boycott Turkish apples was also launched in India.
According to Indian media, Pune traders are running this campaign rapidly, and traders are demanding a boycott of Turkish apples.
It is pertinent to note that Turkiye had strongly supported Pakistan in the recent Indo-Pakistan tension, which did not please the Indians at all, and it became bitter.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had said that they always stand with Pakistan. The brotherhood between Turkiye and Pakistan is something that very few nations are blessed with.
