Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi was shifted from jail to hospital due to a heart problem.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi's lawyer said that his client has been shifted to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) due to heart problems.
Lawyer of Shah Mehmood Qureshi stated that he was shifted to PIC after Fajr prayers. The jail administration has also informed Shah Mehmood Qureshi's family.
It is pertinent to note that Shah Mehmood Qureshi was arrested in the cases of May 9 last year and is under detention in Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore.
