World Police Summit Awards considered exceptional contributions from police officers across 192 countries in various categories


Lahore: ASP Anam Sher Khan has been honored with an international award at the World Police Summit for her outstanding performance in criminal investigation.
The World Police Summit Awards considered exceptional contributions from police officers across 192 countries in various categories.
According to a spokesperson for Punjab Police, the summit is the world’s leading professional platform for police leadership, recognising officers each year who demonstrate innovation, leadership, and excellence in their respective fields.
After a rigorous scrutiny and interview process, two officers from Punjab Police were shortlisted as award winners. Kasur DPO, Muhammad Essa Khan, secured second place in the category of Best Use of Artificial Intelligence in Policing.
Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr Usman Anwar, congratulated ASP Anam Sher Khan for bringing international recognition to Pakistan and the Punjab Police.
He stated that the selection of Punjab Police officers for such prestigious international honors is a moment of pride for the Pakistan Police Service, and that talented officers like Anam Sher Khan will play a key role in the future leadership of the police force.
