An online visa system will be launched in December this year to make the process easier for applicants


(Web Desk): Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan, Iqbal Hussain Khan, has said that visa rules between Pakistan and Bangladesh are being relaxed to boost trade and economic ties.
He made these remarks while speaking to members of the Gujrat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GTCCI) on Saturday.
He said Bangladesh views Pakistan as a key gateway to Central Asian countries and supports peace and economic development in the region. The High Commissioner noted that both countries have started issuing visas to business delegations to encourage trade.
He also announced that an online visa system will be launched in December this year to make the process easier for applicants, especially those in the business community.
GTCCI President Bau Muneer, former president Ali Ansar Ghuman, Ahmed Hassan Mattu, Secretary Usman Muzaffar, and others also spoke at the event.
