According to foreign media reports, 22-year-old student and social media influencer María José Estupiñán was shot and killed outside her home in the Colombian city of Cúcuta.

The attack occurred when a man, posing as a delivery person, approached María with a fake gift and shot her at close range before fleeing the scene.

According to local Colombian news outlets, CCTV footage shows the assailant shooting María José at close range and then running away. She was immediately taken to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
