Written test for candidates will be held in July


Lahore: A flood of applications has been received for the recruitment of Assistant Station Masters and Sub-Engineers in Pakistan Railways.
According to railway sources, 30,247 applications have been received for 550 positions, including 13,314 for Assistant Station Master and 16,933 for Sub-Engineer roles.
The job advertisement for recruitment in Pakistan Railways was issued last year, and the written test for candidates will be held in July.
The written examination will be conducted in collaboration with a private university, and the railway administration has informed the applicants accordingly.
Positions for Assistant Station Masters, Mechanical, Signals, Civil, Electrical, and Designers had been lying vacant in Pakistan Railways for several years.
