Golden Temple is the most revered place of Sikh faith

Islamabad: Pakistan has rejected the Indian allegation of an attempt to target the Golden Temple.
The Foreign Office spokesperson has said that it rejects the allegations of targeting the Golden Temple; the claim that Pakistan tried to target the Golden Temple is baseless.
He stated that the Golden Temple is the most revered place of the Sikh faith; it was India that targeted the various places of worship, also in Pakistan, on the night between May 6 and 7.
He added that India’s allegations cannot divert attention from this unacceptable act. Pakistan is the proud guardian of many holy places of the Sikh religion.
The spokesperson clarified that Pakistan welcomes thousands of Sikh pilgrims from all over the world every year. Pakistan also provides visa-free access to Gurdwara Sahib Kartarpur through the Kartarpur Corridor.
