(Web Desk): A student at a government school in Bahawalnagar has died due to extreme heat.
According to the spokesperson of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), the incident occurred at a government school in Haroonabad, Bahawalnagar, where a girl lost her life due to the intense heat.
The PDMA spokesperson stated that the 13-year-old was an 8th-grade student. She fell ill in class due to the heat and suffocation.
According to the spokesperson, the girl had a pre-existing heart condition and suffered a cardiac arrest in class. She was immediately taken to the hospital for medical assistance but, unfortunately, could not survive.
