Nadia Khan faces criticism for calling AVM Aurangzeb ‘brother’
She stated that she has always called Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb ‘brother’


Karachi: Renowned Pakistani actress and host Nadia Khan came under fire on social media when she addressed Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Aurangzeb Ahmed as ‘brother’ during a TV program.
Recently, Nadia Khan explained her relationship with Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb during a morning show, saying that he is a close friend of her husband, Faisal Rao.
During the show, Nadia Khan also showed an old photograph in which both her husband, Faisal Rao, and Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed were present.

She said that this photo is from 1989, when they were fighter pilots.
Nadia Khan stated that she has always called Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb ‘brother’.
According to her, when she married Faisal, he told her that he had three brothers, but later he told her that there was one more brother.
She added, “My husband told me that he is brother Aurangzeb, who is a very capable fighter pilot, and said that I will introduce you to him too”.
Nadia Khan said that her husband and brother, Aurangzeb, used to talk on the phone for hours. Later, she also met him and his family.
She added that when she first met brother Aurangzeb and his family, they were only talking about Pakistan, which showed how much they love the country.
The actress further said that we are all so inspired by brother Aurangzeb that my husband often says that my son should be like Aurangzeb, not me.
This video of Nadia Khan is going viral on social media, and she is also being criticized by users.
One user wrote that ‘failure is a stepmother and success have a hundred relatives.’

Another user wrote sarcastically, ‘Does the Air Vice Marshal know about long telephone conversations? Because he has much more to do than talk to a friend on the phone for hours.’
