WhatsApp voice chat feature now available for all groups
Feature was limited only to groups consisting of 33 to 256 people

California: WhatsApp has announced to introduce the voice chat feature for all groups, regardless of their size.
Voice chat is a different feature from group calls, which the company has called audio hangouts.
By the way, the voice chat feature has been available since 2023, but until now it was limited to large WhatsApp groups.
That is, it could be used only in groups consisting of 33 to 256 people.
Generally, there are not so many people in groups consisting of friends or relatives, so this means that it was not possible to use this feature in most groups.
Therefore, it can also be said that most people will now be able to use this feature for the first time.
How to use the feature?
This feature is also very easy to use.
To do this, swipe up from the bottom of the chat and hold for a few seconds.
When the voice chat starts, the people in the group will be able to join it and leave it at will.
In fact, these voice chats will start silently, and a chat bubble will appear in the group, by clicking on which you will be able to join the voice chat.
During the voice chat, you will also be able to send text messages to people in the group who will not be part of this chat.
Under this feature, a new voice waveform icon will appear on the group chat.
Clicking on this icon will automatically start the voice chat, for which a specific interface will be allocated.
This new feature will be available to all group users in the coming weeks, and according to the company, the voice chat will be protected by end-to-end encryption.
If no one joins the voice chat, its session will automatically end after 60 minutes.
