All offices and branches of the State Bank will remain closed on Wednesday

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced a public holiday on May 28, 2025, to mark Youm-e-Takbeer, the day Pakistan became a nuclear power in 1998.
According to an official notification, all offices and branches of the State Bank will remain closed on Wednesday, May 28, following the government’s decision.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) will also be closed for the day.
