Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has taken a major decision regarding Hajj this year as well, banning the entry of children.
This decision was announced in February 2025 and is being implemented this year as well.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said that this decision has been taken due to the increasing crowd during Hajj, and for the safety of children, they have been prevented from performing Hajj.
It is pertinent to note that despite receiving an additional 10,000 Hajj quota this year, 67,000 pilgrims under the private Hajj scheme will be deprived of the privilege of performing Hajj.
