Mahira Khan, Humayun Saeed awarded honorary shields in Dubai
Actors are appearing in film together after almost 10 years


Dubai: Pakistani film stars Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed were awarded honorary shields in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the Pakistani film industry.
The award was presented by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, at a special ceremony.
The event was held in connection with the promotional campaign of the film Love Guru, which was attended by members of the Pakistani diplomatic mission, fans, and media representatives.
Ambassador Faisal Tirmizi said in his speech on the occasion that the arts are an important part of Pakistan’s soft power. Such artists present a positive image of Pakistan to the world and highlight our story on a global scale.
He added that projects like the film Love Guru reflect the changing cultural landscape of Pakistan and become a means of connecting hearts with global audiences.
Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed are appearing in a film together after almost 10 years. Their last film together, Bin Roye, was released in 2015.
