Karachi: Pakistan on Thursday defeated India in semi-final to qualify for the final of the South Asian Under-12 Tennis Championship.
Pakistan’s Shayan Afridi and Rashid Ali outperformed their Indian opponents in the South Asian Under-12 Tennis Championship. Rashid Ali defeated Indian player Thanush Shekhar 6-2, 6-3, while Shayan Afridi beat Khatri Nayan 6-0, 6-1.
Earlier, Pakistan had won group matches against the Maldives, Bangladesh, and Nepal. In the final of the South Asian Under-12 Tennis Championship, Pakistan will face the host nation Sri Lanka.
