Justice Mansoor will serve as the Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan until June 10


(Web Desk): Justice Mansoor Ali Shah has taken oath as the Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan.
According to reports, Justice Ayesha Malik administered the oath to Justice Mansoor Ali Shah at the Supreme Court's Lahore Registry.
The ceremony was attended by Justice Shahid Waheed, Justice Aamer Farooq, Justice Shahid Bilal, and Justice Ali Baqar Najafi. Advocate General Punjab Amjad Pervez and other senior lawyers were also present at the event.
Chief Justice Yahya Afridi is currently in Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj and is expected to return to Pakistan on June 10 after completing the pilgrimage.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah will serve as the Acting Chief Justice until June 10.
