Single and division benches of IHC disposed of 1,415 cases from May 1 to 31


Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has released the Judges’ Performance Report for May 2025.
According to the report, the single and division benches of the IHC disposed of a total of 1,415 cases from May 1 to 31. Justice Inam Amin Minhas was in first place by disposing of 274 cases, Justice Muhammad Azam Khan was in second place with 181 cases, and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani was in third place by disposing of 134 cases.
The report stated that Acting Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar decided 83 cases, Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri decided 59 cases, Justice Babar Sattar decided 71 cases, Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan decided 52 cases, and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir decided 65 cases.
Justice Saman Riffat Imtiaz decided 71 cases, Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro decided 80 cases, and Justice Muhammad Asif decided 113 cases.
Apart from this, the division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif disposed of 9 cases. The division bench comprising Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani and Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan disposed of 2 cases. The division bench comprising Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani and Justice Saman Riffat Imtiaz disposed of 25 cases.
The report stated that the division bench comprising Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri and Justice Saman Rifat Imtiaz disposed of 9 cases. The division bench comprising Justice Babar Sattar and Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan disposed of 64 cases.
According to the report issued, the division bench comprising Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir and Justice Muhammad Azam Khan disposed of 2 cases. The division bench comprising Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir and Justice Inam Amin Minhas disposed of 39 cases. The division bench comprising Justice Muhammad Azam Khan and Justice Inam Amin Minhas disposed of 67 cases.
The report further stated that the division bench comprising Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro and Justice Muhammad Azam Khan disposed of 3 cases. The division bench comprising Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro and Justice Inam Amin Minhas decided one case.
