Sana Mir had the honor of ringing bell to begin second game of World Test Championship final at Lord's


London: Former Pakistan women's cricket team captain Sana Mir, who was recently inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame, has achieved another honor.
The World Test Championship final is currently underway between Australia and South Africa at Lord's Cricket Ground.
According to the tradition of Lord's Ground, every Test match played here begins with the ringing of the bell.
On Thursday, former Pakistan women's team captain Sana Mir had the honor of ringing the bell to begin the second game of the World Test Championship final at Lord's.
It is pertinent to note that Sana Mir has also recently been inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame, making her the first female cricketer from Pakistan to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Sana Mir started her ODI career in December 2005 against Sri Lanka in Karachi, while her last one-day match was played against Bangladesh in November 2019 in Lahore.
Sana Mir played 226 international matches in her career, during which she captained the Pakistan Women's Cricket Team in 137 international matches from 2009 to 2017.
She took 151 wickets in 120 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and scored 1,630 runs.
