‘Peace or war cannot be imposed on Iran’

(Web Desk): Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has rejected US President Donald Trump’s warning for Iran to surrender, declaring that Iran will never give in and warning that any military action by the United States would have serious and irreparable consequences.
According to Reuters, Ayatollah Khamenei, in a televised address to the nation on Wednesday, stated that his country would not accept President Trump’s call for unconditional surrender.
This was Khamenei’s first official response since Friday, when Israel launched airstrikes on Iran. In his speech broadcast on state media, he firmly rejected any external imposition of peace or war.
“Peace or war cannot be imposed on Iran,” he said, adding, “Those who are wise and understand Iran, its people, and its history, will never speak to this nation in the language of threats, because the Iranian nation will not surrender.”
He further stated that Israel had made a grave mistake by attacking Iran and would face consequences for its actions.
Regarding President Trump’s threats, Khamenei said that those who know Iran’s history understand that threats are not met with submission in Iran, but rather with strong resistance.
