Iran unleashes Sejjil missiles, warns of more retaliation

(Web Desk): Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, has stated that more attacks will be carried out on Israel, as the Zionist regime has been continuing its aggression against Iran for the past week.
According to Mehr News Agency, during a visit to the Aerospace Force base of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Thursday, he said, "By the grace of God, we will continue to strike any target of the occupying Zionist regime, and there is nothing that can stop us."
General Mousavi praised the high morale and full preparedness of the troops stationed at the base.
He also paid tribute to the effective and precise strikes carried out by the IRGC’s Aerospace Force on Israeli targets in recent days, which were launched in response to Israel’s aggression against Iran.
On Wednesday night, the IRGC had stated that the Iranian armed forces launched a new type of powerful missile at Israeli targets. According to the statement, the missiles used were of the "Sejjil" type—long-range, two-stage, and extremely heavy ballistic weapons.
On the night of June 13, Israel launched an unprovoked attack on Iran, targeting residential buildings in Tehran. These strikes resulted in the martyrdom of senior Iranian military officers in targeted attacks, while several civilians also lost their lives in their homes.
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, appointed new military commanders on the same day and declared, "Now life will become dark for Israel." Shortly after his statement, the Iranian armed forces launched retaliatory strikes inside Israeli-occupied territories, raining down missiles and drones on targets including Tel Aviv and Haifa.
On Tuesday, Major General Mousavi said that the armed forces would soon shift "from defensive strikes to punitive attacks."
