‘Sardar Ji 3’ trailer out, film not to be released in India
Film will be released internationally on June 27, 2025

The official trailer of the Indian Punjabi film ‘Sardar Ji 3’ has been released on YouTube, featuring Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. The film will not be released in India.
There were reports about this film that after the ban on Pakistani artists in India due to the Indo-Pak war, Hania's character was removed from the film, and some scenes of the film were re-shot in the UK. However, it was a pleasant surprise for the fans that Hania Aamir is not only present in the film but is also clearly visible in the trailer.
The cast of the film includes famous Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh, Nirav Bajwa, Hania Aamir, Nasir Chinyoti, and other famous Punjabi actors. The film was shot entirely in the UK, which fully reflects the international standards and beauty of the locations.
As soon as the trailer was released, fans expressed happiness on social media.
A social media user wrote that from ‘Mere Hamsafar’ to ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’ and now the Punjabi film industry, Hania has proven her talent.
Many Pakistani fans prayed for Diljit Dosanjh and said that there is immense respect and love for Diljit in the hearts of Pakistanis.
The film is being released internationally on June 27, 2025, and its trailer has already caught the attention of the audience. The film is expected to be a great success at the box office.

The film is based on a humorous story of exorcism, in which Hania plays the role of a ghost hunter.
The trailer shows Hania and Diljit performing the task of exorcising spirits from a British mansion. The film is expected to present terrifying scenarios with humor.
However, ‘Sardar Ji 3’ will not be released in Indian cinemas. The Federation of Western India Cinema Employees (FWICE) has raised objections to the certification of the film because it features Pakistani actress Hania Aamir and other Pakistani actors like Nasir Chinioti, Daniyal Khawar, and Saleem Albela in important roles.
It is pertinent to note that after the Pahalgam attack, which claimed 26 lives, the Indian government banned any collaboration with Pakistani actors and technicians, further increasing tensions between the two countries.
Earlier, the FWICE had also banned Pakistani actor Fawad Khan's film Abir Gulal.
Now, the release and certification of ‘Sardar Ji 3’ are creating further complications in India, and its screening in Indian cinemas may be difficult.
Meanwhile, the trailer of the film has also been blocked on YouTube in India, and a message appears that reads “The uploader has not made this video available in your country”. However, the teaser and songs of the film are available to watch in India.
The film will be released only abroad, and Indian fans will have to wait for it.
