Approval has been granted for two projects focused on education and clean water supply in the province


Islamabad: The World Bank has approved $194 million in aid for Balochistan.
According to a statement issued by the World Bank, the approval has been granted for two projects focused on education and clean water supply in the province.
The statement mentions that $10 million will be allocated to a project aimed at increasing literacy rates among children in Balochistan. This support will help promote quality primary education and provide 250,000 children with access to quality schooling.
In addition, $94 million will be used for a project focused on water security and increasing agricultural productivity in Balochistan. The aid will improve the lives of small-scale farmers relying on water from the Nari, Talli, and Lehri rivers.
