(Web Desk): The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced sweeping rule changes across men’s international cricket, introducing a range of new regulations aimed at improving the pace and fairness of the game. These include the introduction of a stop clock in Test matches, revised DRS rules, and updated ball-handling protocols.
The decisions, based on recommendations from the ICC Cricket Committee, were confirmed ahead of the new international season. Several of the changes are set to take effect from July 2, 2025, while others are already being applied during the ongoing 2025–27 ICC World Test Championship.
