Karachi: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that the Battle of Truth will never fade from India’s memory, and that Pakistan is fully prepared to defend its homeland at any cost.
The resolute response of the armed forces to India has strengthened national dignity, he added.
Addressing the passing-out parade at PNS Rahbar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir said it was an honor to review the impressive ceremony and extended congratulations to the cadets from friendly countries.
He noted that maritime warfare challenges for the Pakistan Navy are increasing steadily in the region and emphasized the need to adapt to evolving dynamics in naval combat. Maintaining a strong and effective maritime force is essential for Pakistan, he added.
The Field Marshal affirmed that Pakistan’s journey toward progress will continue, stressing that strong coordination between the people, the government, and the armed forces is vital for national development. He also reiterated the commitment to bringing the war against terrorism to its logical conclusion.
The Army Chief said that the Battle for Truth will never fade from India’s memory, and Pakistan stands fully prepared to defend its soil at any cost. He added that the resolute response of the armed forces to India’s aggression has reinforced the nation’s dignity.
He stated that India committed an act of irresponsible aggression that endangered the entire region. Despite India’s provocations, Pakistan demonstrated patience and responsibility. He further remarked that India seeks to derive political gains from a false sense of strategic superiority.
