WhatsApp introduces built-in document scanner for Android users
Feature will be part of the document sharing menu and will be available under the name ‘Scan Document’

(Web Desk): A great new feature is being added to WhatsApp to simplify the process of sharing documents.
Through this feature, users will be able to scan documents easily within the app itself, without the need for any third-party application.
Such a feature has been available to iPhone users for quite some time, but now it is being introduced for Android users as well.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, this new feature has appeared in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android devices and is currently available to a limited number of users.
The report states that the feature will be part of the document sharing menu and will be available under the name “Scan Document.”
With this addition, users will be able to scan any document using their device’s camera without needing any scanning tool or app.
Upon selecting the “Scan Document” option, the camera will activate, allowing the user to scan the document.
After scanning, users will be able to preview the document and make adjustments as needed.
The app will automatically suggest margins, but users will be able to adjust them according to their preferences.
Once the user is satisfied with the scan, they will be able to send it in an individual or group chat.
According to the report, the scan quality in this feature will be excellent, making documents easily readable.
As mentioned above, this feature has currently been introduced in the beta version, so it is difficult to say when it will be available to all users.
