He said that no laxity or negligence in institutions performance will be tolerated


Islamabad: A high-level review meeting on the digitization and reform process of the Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
In the meeting, the Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Finance and the FBR to improve tax revenues.
The meeting was briefed that during the fiscal year 2024-25, Rs865 billion in additional revenues have been collected so far, which is the result of government policies and reform measures.
The Prime Minister directed that revenue collection and economic targets should be achieved diligently. He said that no laxity or negligence in the performance of institutions will be tolerated.
He clarified that he is personally monitoring all stages of revenue collection and economic targets and expects complete results from every institution.
