Tauqeer Nasir removed from chairmanship of Punjab Film Censor Board
He was appointed chairman for two years in 2023

Lahore: Pakistan’s renowned actor Tauqeer Nasir has been removed from the post of chairman of the Punjab Film Censor Board.
According to the media reports, Secretary of Information and Culture Syed Tahir Raza Hamdani will now serve as the new chairman of the board.
Actor, host, and writer Wasi Chaudhry has been appointed vice chairman. He has previously served in the Film Censor Board and Film Committee during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
The newly formed board includes many prominent figures from the industry, including actress Resham.
It is pertinent to note that actor Tauqeer Nasir was appointed as the chairman of the Punjab Film Censor Board for a period of two years in 2023.
