Informal conversation between them reflected friendship, brotherhood, and regional unity

Khankandi: After the ECO Summit, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev were seen walking together, talking, and expressing the spirit of friendship in a chain of hands.
Azerbaijani President Aliyev not only introduced the guests to the historical buildings of Khankandi but also opened the fascinating pages of the city’s history while guiding them himself.
The three leaders were seen laughing, smiling, and walking around casually, breaking away from traditional protocol. The informal conversation reflected friendship, brotherhood, and regional unity.
The conversation was not limited to just a walk; President Aliyev personally drove Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to the historical city of ‘Shusha’, where lunch was arranged. This moment was a symbol of a personal connection, a brotherhood, far beyond diplomacy.
Experts in international affairs say that this diplomatic approach of increasing closeness between Pakistan, Turkey, and Azerbaijan is a breath of fresh air in which less politics and more humanity and sincerity are reflected.
It is pertinent to note that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has returned home after completing a two-day visit to Azerbaijan.
