Governor of Texas has requested federal emergency assistance from President Trump


(Web Desk): Severe rainfall has led to a flood emergency in the US state of Texas, with multiple areas submerged under several feet of water.
According to international news agencies, homes, roads, and vehicles have suffered extensive damage, while fallen trees have blocked many routes. A total of 51 people, including 15 children, have died in various incidents related to the flooding.
The death toll from flooding in Texas has risen to 27, prompting authorities to declare a state of emergency.
In Kerr County, 43 fatalities were reported, while Burnet County confirmed the deaths of 3 individuals. Additionally, around 27 girls participating in a summer camp near a river have gone missing, and a search and rescue operation is currently underway.
Emergency responders have rescued 850 people from affected areas, and residents have been advised to avoid traveling to flood-hit regions.
Due to warnings of continued rainfall and flooding, multiple counties have declared a state of emergency. The Governor of Texas has requested federal emergency assistance from President Trump.
