President Trump welcomes Hamas' recent statement regarding negotiations

(Web Desk): US President Donald Trump has expressed hope for a possible Gaza deal next week.
Speaking to reporters in Washington, President Trump welcomed Hamas' recent statement regarding negotiations.
Trump said that a Gaza agreement could happen next week, noting, “There’s a lot to do regarding Gaza, and we are sending a great deal of aid there.”
The US President also stated that he would discuss Iran with the Israeli Prime Minister, adding, “I had completely shut down Iran’s nuclear program, but they could try to restart it.”
He further mentioned that he had signed letters to 12 countries regarding the tariff issue. “I also spoke to Russian President Putin about the sanctions. He’s troubled by them,” Trump said.
He added that either he might visit China or the Chinese President could visit the US, and that a deal on TikTok is very close.
Meanwhile, Hamas has stated that it is ready to immediately begin negotiations for a Gaza ceasefire. The group responded positively to the new ceasefire and prisoner exchange proposal put forth by Qatar and the United States.
According to international news agencies, Hamas said in its statement that consultations on the new ceasefire proposals have been completed.
The statement added that Hamas has delivered its positive response to the mediators — Qatar and Egypt — and emphasized that it is prepared to engage seriously and immediately in a new round of talks to implement the ceasefire plan.
