India failed to meet military goals in operation sindoor: Field Marshal Asim Munir
During his address, the Field Marshal shed light on the evolving nature of warfare

Rawalpindi: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has stated that India failed to achieve its designated military objectives during Operation Sandor.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, visited the National Defence University where he addressed graduating officers of the Armed Forces enrolled in the National Security and War Course.
During his address, the Field Marshal shed light on the evolving nature of warfare. He emphasized the need for mental preparedness, practical understanding, institutional professionalism, and enhanced coordination between civil and military institutions to effectively tackle emerging challenges.
In his address to the officers, Field Marshal Asim Munir said that India was unsuccessful in attaining its set military goals during Operation Sandor. He added that the illogical justifications for the failure of the operation reflect a lack of strategic foresight on India’s part.
Field Marshal Asim Munir further stated that India is unwilling to acknowledge Pakistan's success, which is rooted in decades of strategic planning, indigenous capability, and strong institutions. He said that India’s baseless statements are a failed attempt to assert a self-assigned role as a "net security provider" in the region—especially at a time when regional countries are increasingly frustrated with India’s aggressive posture and Hindutva-driven ideology.
