Investigation committee will submit report to relevant authorities within 48 hours


Karachi: A committee has been formed to investigate the building collapse incident in Lyari, an area of Karachi.
According to the notification, Commissioner Karachi Hassan Naqvi has been appointed as the chairman of a five-member investigation committee, which includes the Special Secretary Local Government, Deputy Director SBCA, and other officers.
According to the notification, the committee will determine the reasons for the building collapse and those responsible, while the committee will also submit recommendations to prevent such incidents.
The investigation committee will submit its report to the relevant authorities within 48 hours.
It is pertinent to note that a five-storey building collapsed in the Lyari Baghdadi area of Karachi last week, resulting in the death of 27 people.
