Postmortem of Humaira Asghar's body completed, drug use revealed
Woman had been living alone in the apartment for 7 years

Karachi: The post-mortem examination of the mutilated body of model and actress Humaira Asghar, which was found several days old in an apartment located in the Ittehad Commercial Area of Karachi's Defense Housing Authority (DHA) Phase VI, has been completed at Jinnah Hospital.
According to the police, Humaira belonged to Lahore. Her body has been shifted to the morgue, and the deceased’s family has been contacted.
According to SSP South, Mahzoor Ali, the woman had been living alone in the apartment for 7 years. She had rented the apartment in 2018 and had not been paying rent since 2024.
The landlord had filed a case in the Clifton Cantonment Board. When the bailiff came, the door was closed. When the door did not open, it was broken, and the woman’s body was lying on the floor in the room.
After the incident, the court bailiff sealed the apartment, and investigations into the incident are ongoing from various aspects.
According to the police, the deceased's mobile phone data has also been obtained, and the real cause of death will be revealed when the chemical examination report comes. However, initially, the woman's death appears to be natural.
Police officials say that attempts were made to contact the family, but they have refused to accept the body.
They maintained that they had ended all relations with Humaira some time ago and now have no connection with the actress.
The police are taking forward the investigation by obtaining mobile phone data, CCTV footage, and information from nearby residents. According to initial information, the actress also used narcotics.
Police officials say that the true nature of the incident and the cause of death will be determined only after the post-mortem report and laboratory analysis.
The neighbor says that Humira Asghar did not interact much with other people in the building.
It is pertinent to note that Humira Asghar participated in the first season of the Pakistani reality show 'Tamasha Ghar'.
