Actress Humaira Asghar laid to rest in Lahore
Her body was discovered on July 8 in a flat located in Karachi

(Web Desk): Actress Humaira Asghar, who was found dead in Karachi, has been laid to rest in Lahore, the capital of Punjab.
Her body was discovered on July 8 in a flat located in the Defence area of Karachi, the capital of Sindh, where she had been residing since 2018.
Initially, police stated that the body appeared to be around two weeks old. However, on July 9, it was claimed that the body was six months old. Later, on July 10, a post-mortem report revealed that her body had been decomposing for approximately 10 months.
According to both police and family members, Humaira Asghar had been out of contact with everyone since October 2024.
Her brother, Naveed Asghar, arrived in Karachi from Lahore on July 10 to collect her body. He departed the same night, transporting her remains back to Lahore.
Her body reached Lahore on the afternoon of July 11. Following funeral prayers held in the Model Town area, she was laid to rest in her ancestral graveyard located in Q Block Cemetery.
Emotional scenes were witnessed upon her body’s arrival in Lahore, with close relatives and local residents mourning her loss deeply.
